Events at TerraNova, LLC Announces Winter 2023 Hunter/Jumper Show Dates Hosted at TerraNova Equestrian Center

MYAKKA CITY, Florida – August 3, 2022 – Events at TerraNova is excited to announce four new weeks of FEI 2* (pending FEI approval), Level 4 jumper and US Equestrian A-rated hunter competition at the world-class TerraNova Equestrian Center near Sarasota in 2023. Equestrians of all levels are invited to the newest winter competition experience at Florida’s premier equestrian facility Feb. 15-19, Feb. 22-26, March 15-19 and March 22-26. Competition highlights each week include hunter derbies, jumper classics, equitation divisions and grand prix events.
These newly-added weeks of competition will create an exciting seven-week hunter/jumper series of shows hosted at TerraNova Equestrian Center. The action begins in January with the AIR Show Jumping Winter Classic held Jan. 4-15 and the Sarasota CSI 2* Split Rock Jumping Tour Jan. 25-29.
Recently updated with luxurious new permanent stabling by B&D Builders, TerraNova Equestrian Center is gearing up for a wonderful start to the 2023 season. More than 250 12 x 12, permanent stalls cushioned with mattress systems, are completed with plans for future expansion for a total of more than 600 permanent stalls.
“We are excited to build on the success we had with our Spring Series hunter/jumper shows last year,” said Hannah Herrig Ketelboeter, president of TerraNova Equestrian Center. “We can’t wait to showcase all of the amazing facility updates. We want to be the can’t miss winter competition venue for equestrians of all levels.”
TerraNova Equestrian Center will be offering seasonal stalls available from December 1 2022-May 1, 2023. Spend the winter in style with the permanent show stabling that features:
250 permanent stalls
12×12 stalls
Stall mattress system
Fans in each stall
TV monitors displaying ring status and messages
Permanent bathrooms
Wash racks

The gold-standard facility in the Southwest Florida countryside is home to six state-of-the-art arenas. Exhibitors and spectators will enjoy many amenities such as boutique shopping on Vendor Row, delicious food truck fare and a VIP pavilion with amazing views overlooking the TerraNova Grand Prix and TerraNova Hunter arenas. VIP Experiences including a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy catered meals, bar services and daily entertainment will be available for competitors and spectators.

Competitors will have access to the amazing galloping lanes and lush cross-country course for a nice, relaxing hack on non-show days. Explore the wonder of Southwest Florida nature on horseback and ride among the many beautiful trees and natural obstacles found on the 225-acre facility.
Other competitor amenities include ship-in parking, dedicated competitor parking and RV/camper and trailer parking along with on-site campers available for rent.
